My Muchness

 Part of the pain of infertility was wanting to relive my childhood through my children, and desperately finding ways to relive that childhood without them once I realized that we were never having children.  This was one of the reasons I decided I needed a change. It’s what prompted my word of the year…upheaval.  I’ve come to realize that I’m a different person. Who I was as a child compared to who I am now…are two completely different people.  I was talking to a good friend of mine the other day and told them that if someone told me that they had broken their foot at the top of the mountain and hiked over three miles on that foot, I would have exclaimed, “I could never do that!” But I did.  If someone would have told me in high school about everything I would have to endure once I graduated, I would have exclaimed, “I could never survive that!” But I did.  I survived it all.  The little girl who couldn’t sleep without a stuffed animal or a doll (and ...

I’m Back with Purpose!

 Hey there friends! It’s been quite a while. I had to stop posting because I reached a really dark place in my infertility journey, and a lot has happened! This summer, my husband and I chose to be childfree after infertility. It was a hard decision, but the best decision I’ve ever made for myself.  You may have noticed that I rebranded. This is because I have embraced the childfree life and have realized that I have a purpose outside of motherhood. It’s been a long, hard journey to get to this point.  I want to help other women who are struggling through infertility, no matter where their journey leads them.  I am passionate about helping others, and truly believe that I’m being called to do beautiful things. I’m currently on a journey to being a Life Coach. This may take me a bit, but I want to use my experience and my skill set to help other women going through infertility in a professional capacity.
